Common questions
Is FL Studio free?
FL Studio has a fully functional free trial with no time limit. All features work. The only restriction is you cannot reopen saved projects — but you can export audio. To save and reopen projects, you need a paid licence. See free trial guide.
Does FL Studio include lifetime free updates?
Yes. Every edition of FL Studio includes lifetime free updates to all future versions. Once you buy FL Studio 25, you get FL Studio 26, 27 and beyond at no extra cost — one of the best deals in DAW software.
Which edition should I buy?
Most producers should start with Producer Edition ($199). It includes the full piano roll, audio clips and unlimited instrument tracks. Fruity Edition ($99) lacks audio recording. See editions comparison.
